Abstract

This study aims to examine the implications of homeschooling on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Using a qualitative approach through literature review, this research analyzes various sources discussing the implementation of homeschooling and PAI learning. The findings indicate that homeschooling offers high flexibility and personalization in the PAI learning process, allowing students to learn according to their needs and interests. However, the success of the learning process is greatly influenced by active parental involvement and the availability of adequate learning resources. In general, the understanding of PAI material by homeschooling students does not differ significantly compared to students in formal education. This study concludes that homeschooling has the potential to be an effective alternative in PAI learning, but its sustainability and long-term impact require careful planning and further research. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of parental support and the development of appropriate learning resources to improve the quality of religious education in the homeschooling environment.
