PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PERTANIAN BERBASIS HIDROPONIK DI PEDESAAN
Abstract
The development of a hydroponic-based agricultural model in rural areas aims to increase food security and increase farmers' income. This research focuses on the application of hydroponic farming in Gondosuli Village, a rural area in Probolinggo Regency. This research uses a participatory action research (PAR) approach to involve local farmers in the development and implementation of a hydroponic model. This study found that the education of hydroponic farming in Gondosuli Village has resulted in significant increases in crop yield and quality. Farmers are able to produce high-quality vegetables such as bok choy, lettuce and pagoda, which are in great demand in local markets. Hydroponic systems also allow for year-round production, reducing dependence on seasonal crops.
