Peer Review Process

TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam follows a double-blind peer review policy. The paper is sent to multiple reviewers (experts in their respective fields) to review the paper based on the journal's guidelines and features quality research papers. For papers that require changes, the same reviewer will be used to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable.

TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam maintains peer review standards while improving the efficiency of its processes.

All research articles published in TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam undergo a complete peer review, the main characteristics of which are listed below:

• All research articles are reviewed by at least two qualified experts.
• All publication decisions are made by the Editor-In-Chief of the journal based on the reviews provided
• Members of the International Editorial Board provide insight, advice and guidance to the editor-in-chief in general and assist in decision-making on specific submissions
• Managing editors and editorial assistants provide administrative support that enables journals to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing rapid turnaround and maximum efficiency to authors, reviewers, and editors.
• The journal also benefits through a manuscript referral process of high-quality peer review conducted by established journals.

Peer review of referred papers:

The editor of TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam will immediately decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to referred papers based on the reviews and editorial insights of supporting journals. In addition, editors will have the option to search for additional reviews when needed. Authors will be notified when the editor decides further review is necessary.

Peer review of novel submissions:

Articles submitted directly to TABYIN: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam will be thoroughly peer reviewed by at least two appropriately qualified experts in their fields selected by the editor-in-chief. The editor-in-chief or appointed member of the editorial board will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received.
The editor will decide whether each submission reports a well-conducted study with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper. Priority assessment will not be a factor in decision-making, but all papers should make additional additions or novellas to the literature.
