STRATEGI METODE PEMBELAJARAN CARD INDEX PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI DI SMKN 1 TANJUNG PURA

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the Card Index learning method strategy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMKN 1 Tanjung Pura, covering its planning, implementation, and results in the learning process. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving PAI teachers and students who participated in learning activities using the Card Index method. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was examined through source and technique triangulation. The results of the study show three main findings. 1) The planning of the Card Index method was carried out by selecting PAI learning materials, preparing question and answer cards, arranging the learning time, explaining the rules, organizing the classroom, and preparing evaluation activities so that the learning process could run in an orderly manner. 2) The implementation of the Card Index method consisted of opening activities, explaining the rules, distributing cards, finding card pairs, discussion, presenting the results, providing reinforcement, evaluation, and closing activities. These activities provided students with opportunities to participate directly in the learning process. 3) The results of implementing the Card Index method were seen in students’ participation, understanding of the learning materials, confidence in presenting answers, ability to work together, and attention during the learning process. Students became more active because they were required to read, understand, find card pairs, discuss, and present their results.
