IMPLEMENTASI METODE TAHSIN BINNADHOR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEFASIHAN BACAAN AL-QURAN PADA SANTRI PONDOK PESANTREN HIDAYATUL ISLAM

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process of Tahsin Binnadhor Al-Qur’an, to determine the Qur’an reading fluency of students, and to examine the implementation of the Tahsin Binnadhor method in improving the Qur’an reading fluency of students at Hidayatul Islam Islamic Boarding School, Alur Rejo Hamlet, Securai Selatan. This study employed a qualitative method using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving Islamic boarding school administrators, Ustadz and Ustadzah who teach Tahsin Binnadhor, and students as sources of information. Data analysis was conducted descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation, persistent observation, and member checking with the informants. The results showed that the Tahsin Binnadhor Al-Qur’an learning process was carried out through preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Students read the Qur’an while looking directly at the mushaf, while the Umi or Ustadzah listened to their recitation, corrected errors, and asked students to repeat their recitation until it became more accurate. Students’ reading fluency was demonstrated by accurate articulation of Arabic letters (makhrajul huruf), proper application of tajwid rules, correct pronunciation of long and short vowels, reading fluency, and a reduction in reading errors. The Tahsin Binnadhor method was implemented routinely through reading, listening, correcting, and repeating recitations. These activities helped students correct their reading errors and improve their Qur’an reading fluency in accordance with tajwid rules
